STEP Support Programme

STEP 3 modules

The STEP 3 specifications include all of the material covered in the "Mathematics 1" and STEP 2 specifications as well as some additional Further Mathematics topics such as hyperbolic functions and polar coordinates.

The STEP 3 modules have been updated to align them with the 2019 STEP specifications. For the current STEP specification please visit the Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing website.

These modules assume that you have already developed your problem solving skills by working through the Foundation modules and STEP 2 modules. We recommend that you start these STEP 3 modules around January of Year 13.

For these modules the questions are from 2013 or before, leaving you with the 2014 papers onwards to use as complete practice papers.

If you have any questions about the assignments, or STEP in general, or feedback about our resources you can email us at step@maths.org, or contact us via twitter @stepsupportcam.

There is more information about the different module types here.
