A free enrichment event for Year 12 students taking A-level Mathematics, designed to inspire, develop students' mathematical thinking and encourage creative approaches to mathematical problem-solving. The day will be highly interactive: it includes a mix of talks and small-group workshops led by the NRICH team and staff from the University of Cambridge Mathematics Faculty, giving opportunities to explore some intriguing mathematics in new and different contexts.

Outline Programme - please note timings are provisional and may be subject to slight change:

Each student will take part in three different highly interactive workshops during the course of the day. Workshops are led by members of the NRICH team

How to book

Please note this event is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list to be notified if places become available, please email us, including your school/college name, the number of student places you would need and your contact email address and phone number.

Thanks to generous philanthropic support, we are able to offer free places to UK schools/colleges. Schools/colleges are warmly encouraged to bring up to 15 students, plus accompanying teachers (all student groups must be accompanied by at least one supervising teacher). This event is aimed at A-level Mathematicians (or equivalent, e.g. IB): please note that it is therefore not suitable for younger students. Please read the booking information carefully before registering.
