The Enigma Project aims to inspire interest in mathematics, science and history through interactive presentations and hands-on workshops focusing on codes and cryptography. Presentations include demonstrations of a real WWII Enigma cipher machine, owned by Simon Singh.
Please note that the Millennium Mathematics Project stopped running the Enigma Project in July 2014: after several very successful years, Dr James Grime, our Enigma Project Officer, has left to pursue solo projects. However, James will still be undertaking a limited number of Enigma visits on a freelance basis in the 2014/15 year.
