NRICH celebrates Maths Week England 2025
To celebrate Maths Week England 2025, Liz Woodham and Charlie Gilderdale from our NRICH team launched our week of activities with a mathematical problem-solving webinar for upper primary and younger secondary students. They were joined by over 4,000 students and their teachers taking part online in schools around the country.
Maths Week England 2025 runs from Monday 17th November to Friday 21st November. Throughout the week, NRICH will feature a rich resource for upper Primary and lower Secondary students each weekday. The featured resources give engaging opportunities to develop key mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
To kick off the week, Liz and Charlie hosted a webinar introducing Monday's problem. Schools from around the country joined the webinar, with students working on mathematical problems with their teachers live in their classrooms and able to share insights, thoughts and questions with everyone involved.
The NRICH Maths Week England resources are freely accessible to all schools, and can be found on our NRICH Maths Week England 2025 page, along with a recording of the introductory webinar. Solutions to all of the featured problems will be published on Friday 21st November afternoon.
