NRICH develops trial Early Years resources

Our NRICH project has published a set of trial mathematics activities designed for use in Early Years Foundation Stage settings.

The 7 activities have been developed with the current Early Years Foundation Stage profile assessment scales in mind. Each activity includes details of the resources needed, suggestions on how to present the activity to children and guidance notes for teachers or parents. Ideas for follow-up activities, and observation sheets to note children's progress, are also provided.
