Abstract: Given the rising importance of H5N1, we have asked Prof. Ed Hutchinson to give us a speed primer on influenza for modellers. Ed is a virologist with particular expertise in influenza, and has made media appearances recently including BBC’s Inside Health giving insight to the public on recent H5N1 news.
