Title: Building models for policy: Experiences in transmission and health economic modelling for African sleeping sickness
Abstract: In this talk I will share my experiences leading the human African trypanosomiasis modelling and economic predictions for policy (HAT MEPP) project at the University of Warwick. I will discuss a range of topics which have impacted how we approach and disseminate the modelling through our collaborations with Ministry of Health stakeholders and other non-modelling partners.
