STEP Support Programme

STEP III modules

The STEP III papers have a different specification to STEP I and II. The content in the STEP I/II specification is assumed and in addition there are several "Further Mathematics" topics such as complex numbers and hyperbolic functions.

These modules assume that you have already developed your problem solving skills by working through the Foundation modules and STEP II modules. We recommend that you start these around January of Year 13.

For most of these modules the questions are from 2012 or before, leaving you with the 2013 papers onwards to use as complete practice papers. The exception is the "Mixed Pure 3" module which has two 2013 questions.

There is more information about the different module types here.
