Best books to review A level Maths/Further Maths content

I'm outside of the UK and my high school maths syllabus overlaps only partially with topics covered in A level Maths and Further Maths. I would like recommendations about the best book series for studying basic content that I might be missing, prior to specifically preparing for STEP. Cambridge International and Edexcel both have book series for the A level courses. Which one is better or do you have other suggestions? Thanks.

I haven't looked at the Cambridge international or Edexcel books, so cannot comment on their suitability! I quite like the old Bostock and Chandler books: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mathematics-Core-Course-Level-Bostock/dp/085950...

And https://www.amazon.co.uk/Further-Pure-Mathematics-L-Bostock/dp/085950103...

There are probably other "old fashioned" textbooks out there which might be useful!
