STEP Support Programme

More Resources

I have been working through the support modules and the past papers, and both have been quite helpful. But I'm still struggling in geometry/trigonometry and some aspects of the pure math questions despite the extra practice. Can anyone recommend any more resources for these topics (or any topics really). That would be a huge help!

"Old fashioned" A-level textbooks can be a good source of questions and notes, I have a soft spot for "Bostock and Chandler".

Other things that might be worth looking at are AEA papers (which will be pure).

Thanks...

Just one quick question... How similar are the AEA papers to the STEP papers. I know STEP has very tailored and unique questions. Will the AEA just be a sidetrack?

AEA is more straightforward that STEP, but required more technical ability than A-level, so will give you practice in using Trig/Algebra/Calculus in more difficult situations. I wouldn't do it in preference to STEP, and if you are taking STEP this year you will probably just do STEP questions now, but if you have longer AEA can be useful to increase your Mathematical fluency.
