Throughout the year we run events, including a series of webinars for UK State-school Cambridge STEP offer holders in March-May each year. Eligible offer holders will receive an invitation from the Cambridge Admissions Office in late February.

Problem Solving for Maths Interviews - free online webinar series

Dates: 4 sessions, Wednesdays from 6th-27th November 2024 (see dates below)

This free series of webinars is aimed at students who have applied to the University of Cambridge this year (2024) to study mathematics as an undergraduate degree. The sessions run weekly for 4 weeks and each one will have a slightly different focus.

These webinars will give you some strategies for solving unfamiliar problems, and some suggestions for where you can find more problems to practice your skills. We will also discuss what to expect from a Cambridge mathematics interview, the different formats they might take, and how you can prepare for them. There will be the opportunity to ask questions, and also the chance to hear current Cambridge mathematics undergraduates talking about their interview experience.
