STEP Support Programme

Preparation

I've been talking to some guys currently studying at Cambridge, they recommend starting in January (if you get an offer) and doing 1 of STEP II and 1 of STEP III per week, can anyone confirm that this works? Also, what kind of scores should I expect to get to begin with? I've been getting ~70 or 80 on pre-2002 STEP IIs and >100 on pre-2002 STEP Is

Essentially do what works for you. Some people like the enhanced support we provide in the modules on this site, others like to work through past papers instead. Many start on the modules here and then move to papers when they feel ready. You might find that there is a lot of material that you haven't covered for STEP 3 yet, in which case the topic notes on this site might be helpful.

Good luck with your preparation!
