Question 4ii on Assignment 6 is an interesting one - it shows that, even when you have a "very accurate" blood test, the chances of you having a disease if you test positive for it can be quite low.

How many different ways could you cover four of the dots with vertical lines, eg: .|..|.|.|.
Why does this give the right answer? How could you use this to figure out the number of five digit numbers that sum to other totals? Are there any totals this approach wouldn't work for?
