I don't know of any particular books for MAT, but that's not to say that they aren't out there! I would suggest working through past papers (but space them out - leave a few for September/October). You can find these here. Also, these might be useful.
Otherwise, "How to solve it" by George Polya is an excellent book about problem solving.
Generally, try and find as many maths problems as possible!
