Hi,
I have not been able to do the first part of the question. However I have been able to do i,ii & iii. How many marks would I get for this? Thank you.

We are not STEP markers, and cannot tell you how many marks you would have got!

This question is also question 2 of the Calculus STEP II module. Have a look at the hints and then try the first part (the "Stem") again. After another go, then look at the solutions.
